What do you hear?
The sound of breath flowing in and out of lungs
The pulse of heart beating blood throughout the body
The whisper of breeze kissing the ears on morning walk
The tic tic of dog's claws on concrete pavement
In rhythmic dance with muffled thunk of rubber soles
A bird chirps
Insects drone a white noise
Squirrel scrunches leaves

I hear the dew drops balancing on the leaf tips
Trembling now as watery sun reaches higher and gilds the sky
I hear them sparkle as they make the dive to earth in heat of now.

Listen
To the earth turn
Informing awareness
Expanding presence to infinity
Silencing the unruly mind
To stillness.
